2025 soundfile Zine
Unity AR C#
I created an AR zine experience that bridges physical and digital interaction through "slow" technology. Each page features a different film poster that, when recognized by the camera through Vuforia's image recognition API, triggers corresponding 3D assets to appear on the page while playing a song from that film's soundtrack.
The concept explores how we can create more intimate connections between physical objects and digital experiences. Rather than rushing through content, users naturally slow down as they flip through pages, discovering how each poster unlocks its own audiovisual world. The deliberate pacing encourages a more contemplative interaction—you're not just consuming media, but actively participating in revealing it.
This project examines what "slow tech" can offer in our rapid-fire digital landscape. By requiring physical page-turning and camera positioning, it creates a ritual around content discovery that feels more intentional than typical digital interfaces. The combination of tactile zine format with AR technology demonstrates how emerging tech can enhance rather than replace physical experiences.
